If you haven't had a chance to check out the Diamante managed University Village Colorado shopping center in Colorado Springs, you should stop by for some free WiFi.

Check out Overlook Park, soon to be a designated trailhead for the Pikes Peak Greenway, part of the Santa Fe Trailsystem.  Come relax and enjoy your lunch and the fantastic view of Pikes Peak ( webcam ) before you hit the trail.

This trail that meanders along Monument and Fountain Creeks is great for bike enthusiasts as well as kids and is maintained by El Paso County Parks and Leisure Services.  Less than 1,000 foot elevation gain over the entire trail, it offers views of Pikes Peak, Elephant Rock, and Rampart Range.

Visit community areas located at the North and South Plazas where you can take it easy and relax in the sunshine.  The North Plaza boasts an outdoor amphitheater that will play host to special events and concerts.

From the North Plaza, you can access Mountain Lion Crossing, a pedestrian underpass that provides safe passage to the campus of UCCS, Mountain Lion Stadium, Four Diamonds Sports Complex and the future home of UCCS's Performing Arts Center.
